Do Core Web Vitals actually affect rankings, or is it a minor signal?
Core Web Vitals is a confirmed ranking factor but a comparatively minor one relative to content relevance and links — it functions more as a tie-breaker between otherwise similar pages, and as a strong driver of conversion rate independent of ranking impact.
Is JavaScript rendering still a problem in 2024 onward?
Less than a decade ago, but yes for specific patterns — client-side content that depends on user interaction to render, slow hydration on shared hosting, or content injected after Googlebot's rendering timeout can still be missed or delayed in indexation.
What's the difference between a redirect chain and a redirect loop?
A chain is a sequence of valid redirects (A to B to C) that wastes crawl budget and dilutes link equity at each hop; a loop is a broken configuration where redirects point back to an earlier URL in the chain, which Googlebot will simply abandon.
How do you prioritise 100+ technical issues from a crawl?
By estimated ranking and revenue impact, not by ease of fix — we triage against indexation blockers first (noindex tags, robots.txt disallows on money pages), then crawl-budget waste, then Core Web Vitals, then everything else.
Can technical SEO fixes alone grow organic traffic without new content?
Yes, in specific scenarios — sites with strong existing content buried behind indexation or rendering problems often see meaningful traffic recovery purely from technical remediation, though sustained growth beyond recovery still requires content and authority work.
